Course objectives
Mastery of basic skills
DTP (desktop publishing, creating a printed document with the help of computers)
Course aims to familiarize students with basic typographic rules and requirements for pre-press documents.
The end of the course students will be able to knowledgeably and creatively combine graphic elements in the design of invitations, posters, or creative thesis of the book and also prepare a document to print the required quality.
Syllabus
  • The course aims to familiarize students with the basic capabilities using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator. The application is designed for creating and working with the document layout, preparation of printed document images of the future, the use of illustrations and export the final document for printing.
  • - text, vector, bitmap and work with them
  • - Explore the possibilities of a wide range of tools for creating multi-page documents, publications
  • - Orientation in the principles of GUI applications.
  • - Possibility of self-selection work with tools and applications offerings.
  • - Mastering the basic use of Adobe InDesign.
  • - basic typographic rules for setting the document.
  • - Work with text - rate and image in the application.
  • - Basic prepress.
  • - Export document.
