Abstract
Course is focused on understanding the current practice of language and vocabulary. Students read selected news from the French press (Le Monde, Le Figaro, Libération) and watch or listen to samples from news broadcasts for French-language television and radio (RFI, TV5 Monde, France 24). The course focuses not only the ability to understand written and listening comprehension, but also the cultural outlook and orientation in the current world of francophone countries.
