Course objectives
At the end of this course students should be able to.;
- Understand and explain: the integration between the basic knowledge of biology, cultivation, ecology, valeologie, Applied Biology (CR habitats, biological farming, permaculture, biology, "Green School", etc.). On the epistemological basis for further expansion from the area of modern scientific knowledge (IVZ I-IV for education as FEP), which requires an integrated understanding of knowledge.
- create: final (group) project "Integrovaná tématická výuka"
- Seminar work "Záhon - bio pěstování", portfolio assessment;
- make deductions based on acquired knowledge: analyze, apply and evaluate basic findings of sciences about biotic nature and communities, understand environmentals rules about Earth and meanings of these rules for men life and health, nature and communities and for practical usage not only at basic education but also in personal life The program presents research conclusions about the implementation of the Learning by doing and Kknowledge base of teaching into the biology course of students teacher. The Model of programe „Biology for Life and Health“.The practical tuitions are intent on integration, activating methods, forms and agents in education mainly for the fields Human and World , Human and a World of Work (growing and breeding), Human and Health and cross-section environmental topics. In this subject focused on environmental friendly management, is practically trained as well as knowledge in context or role of teacher in basic education in mentioned study fields.

Teaching methods
EUR + field work (faculty garden), discusion, group projects
Assessment methods
Discussions in   hour, group projects, homework. The course is completed discerning credit. Requirements for obtaining credit is active participation in exercises (80%), implementation and submission of written documentation of the two parts of group work ("Border", "Tutorials" - včeteně sebereflexního assessment of implementation) and successful achievement of passing the test. Part of passing the test is to verify the application of knowledge from   the cultivation practices, knowledge of plant model for elementary schools, phenological observations in model habitats. Final written test usually consists of 20 questions rated 100 points. K cope successfully with the need to reach at least 75 points. We do not recommend students to realize the credit in the fall, they would have to provide care for   seminal work "Border" over the summer!
