Abstract
The aim is to improve the language knowledge and skills of students, to develop oral and written expression, grammatical skills, improve pronunciation and develop the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course student
- understands the basic principles and components of contemporary Russian spelling.
- communicates in Russian language on the topics studied during the semester.
- can comment some grammatical and lexical phenomena.
Key topics
  • 1 - 2. What is the character of your partner? What would you want to be? Character types.
  • 3 - 4. What dress do you like? Do you like the current fashion? What do you prefer in your wardrobe?
  • 5 - 6. Traffic signs. Driving a car. The traffic situation in the city and outside the city.
  • 7 - 8. At the post office. In the bank. ATM: withdrawing money.
  • 9 - 10. Russian Federation: geography,state system.
  • 11 - 12. Russian holidays and traditions. What traditions do you follow in your family? Summer and winter holidays (comparative Russian - Czech aspect). Repetition.

Regular active participation in seminars (two absences allowed); Final essay in Russian language (three mistakes are permissible).
