- Course objectives
- At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- apply the theoretical foundations of educational diagnostics and elementary practical diagnostic skills in practice;
- based on acquired knowledge to understand and explain the key concepts of educational diagnostics;
- perform basic diagnostics in the class;
- Use the acquired knowledge in teaching vocational subjects;
- Create quality educational test; - Syllabus
- -Teacher-diagnosis as a process (Basic concepts, types, functions and objectives of diagnosis, and the diagnostic phase of the process, problems of the diagnostic work, diagnostic skills.)
- -Diagnostic methods and techniques (observation, interview, questionnaire, test, test history, the study of educational documentation, special diagnostic methods.)
- -Specific educational diagnostics (diagnostics school efficiency, production and use of nestandardizovaného educational testing, diagnostic proficiency, physical fitness, special skills, professional orientation, school class, family, self-teachers.)

- Lectures, study of literature.
- Assessment methods
- The course is completed by colloquium. The requirement for the granting of credit: the development of a questionnaire or didactic test for diagnostic purposes in selected areas,successful completion of the didactic test of content of educational diagnostic.
