- Course objectives
- This course explores those areas of English pronunciation that Czech students of English find difficult. Students are able to work with authentic materials, mimicking and drill help Ss to reach this higher level of pronunciation. Students are also trained to transcribe heard and seen text, and to enhance their ability to transfer our classroom materials to the primary school environment. Self-study is a crucial part of this course. Throughout the semester students are encouraged to link theory in the classroom to practice at schools via practical tasks.
- Learning outcomes

PLEASE NOTE! Due to the quarantine in semester Spring 2020, the course has got a specific continuous assessment which is specified in the email/IS and on Trello specifically designed for this situation. The oral part of the credit test will be held via recordings/videos/videoconferencing - this will be specified and might objectively differ in various courses/cases depending on students´ specific situations. The written test: this test is conducted online in a form of an essay/answering specific course related questions.
