Abstract
The aim is to improve the knowledge and skills of students, to develop oral and written expression, strengthen grammar skills, improve pronunciation and develop the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to communicate in Russian on discussed topics within using the new lexicon; to understand texts and listening in Russian at level A2-B1; to pronounce correctly Russian words and to use correct intonation in Russian sentences; to apply acquired knowledge of Russian grammar in written and spoken language.

Approaches, practices, and methods used in teaching
Course of practical Russian. Regular preparаtion for classes, homework, listening and reading Russian texts.
Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
Compulsory attendance. The credit consists of written and oral part.
After the successful completion of a written test, students may make oral credit, which includes:
Conversation with the teacher
reading book in Russian (pages 180-200);
listening (audio, video, DVD - min. 1 Russian film).
Students submit a glossary of new words from reading   (min. 50 words).
