Course objectives
The students will learn about burnout and ways in which they can avoid it as teachers. They will also learn techniques related to well-being as teachers or future teachers.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students will be able to: -identify factors leading to burnout in the teaching profession -identify strategies to avoid burnout - be able to practice strategies for well-being

Teaching methods
Teaching will happen in 2 blocks. The teaching sessions will be in the form of lectures, discussions and role-plays. Between the 2 sessions students will be asked to read some literature and to keep a well-being diary.
Assessment methods
To pass the course students will need to: 1. Attend the sessions and participate in them actively (50 points) 2. Share the options taken between the sessions (20 points) 3. Hand in some evidence of the options you took (in the form of a picture, a brief diary, some photos, etc.) (30 points)
