Course objectives
The aim of this course is to acquire basic knowledge of intervention approaches and strategies in the framework of the educational area Language and language communication.
Learning outcomes
After completing the discipline, the student will be able to manage the specific problems of teaching of the Czech language on 1. st. the elementary school with pupils with special educational needs. Student knows specific problems of teaching Czech on 1st st. Primary schools with pupils with special educational needs.
Syllabus
  • The position of the educational area Language and language communication in education for the first grade of primary school. The framework educational program for basic education. Educational fields of study of the subject " Czech language and its position in the education of pupils with specific learning disabilities. Psychological foundations of teaching reading, writing, the development of methods writing and reading. Methods of teaching of elementary reading and writing. The readers and literacy, approaches and strategies for teaching reading. The specifics of the reading errors. Differentiation and individualization in the teaching of the Czech language. Specific learning disorders, intervention and reeducation. The issue of access to pupils with specific learning difficulties in the Czech language. The importance of didactic games in the acquisition of reading skills. The lessons of the organizational forms of teaching, the structure of the lesson. Alternative methods in teaching reading and writing The specifics of the evaluation in the educational process.
