Course objectives

This course is the extension of Practical Language Exercises 2. Within the course, the thematic areas discussed in the course Practical Language Exercises 2 will be repeated, strengthen and developed. The course is focused primarily on developing and improving the following skills: reading, listening and speaking. Students will be encouraged to work with the mistakes.

Learning outcomes

At the end of the course students will improve productive and receptive skills.

Teaching methods

Dialogues, reading comprehension, work with visual and audiovisual materials. Regular preparation for classes, homework assignments and corrections.

Assessment methods

Students take part in the oral test, which includes:
– conversation with the teacher based on topics learned during the semester;
– discussion of a Russian book that the student had to choose and read for the test (80 - 100 pages);
– discussion of a Russian movie/series that the student had to choose and watch for the test. Students have to create a glossary of new words from the book and film/series they selected and bring it to the oral part of the test. (min. 50 words).
