Course objectives
The main objective of the course are physics phenomena in everyday life and their interpretations for different target groups of education, understanding the concepts of each part of physics.
Knowledge: technical solutions based on physical phenomena and laws
Skills: to build experimental, computational task with use of data from daily life
Attitudes: to form a relationship with the technical achievements of mankind
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student should know and be able to:
- create teaching materials (worksheets, problems, experiments) showing the use of physics knowledge in everyday life
- analyze practical situations and technical achievements of mankind and be able to discuss them from a physical point of view
-explain the problems presented using individual physical concepts
Syllabus
  • 1st Physical problems and their importance for the understanding of the physics curriculum.
  • 2nd to 6th Mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetic field, optics in daily life
  • 7th to 8th Descriptive and graphic representations
  • 9th to 11th Suggestions for simple measurement and the application of physics in everyday life and engineering practice.
  • 12th Preparation of project-based learning for pupils

Assessment methods
Full-time Study:
The seminar/exercise is assessed from preliminary assignments and micro-assignments with self-presentation of assignments. A developed presentation on a chosen topic, with questions (at least 15) such that they stimulate the primary school student to explore, investigate and discover new things (most often conceptual questions). Adapt the interpretation and interpretation of the phenomena under study for different target groups (primary and secondary school pupils). Incorporate into the presentation the experience of applying the topic and questions in pedagogical practice. The deadline for submission of assignments is always Sunday of the last teaching week of the semester.
Three absences are allowed in the seminar/exercise.
Colloquium: Completion of a final colloquium as outlined in the course syllabus with reference to the school experience.

Combined Studies:
