- Course objectives
- Students will:
- improve their ability to observe classroom situations;
- analyze the classroom situations in the context of theoretical knowledge and practical experience;
- develop the ability to critically evaluate the classroom situation and suggest alternative approaches;
- develop the ability to learn and improve one's teaching through observations and discussions. - Learning outcomes
- By the end of the course, the students:
- know the basic principles and procedures of analysing the classroom situations;
- can analyze classroom situations drawing from theoretical knowledge and their own experience;
- can adequately critically and constructively analyze the classroom situation in relation to its aims and suggest alternative approaches;
- can critically evaluate suggested alternative procedures in relation to analyzed activity/lesson;
- in the analyzed videosequences can indentify impulses for self-reflection and self-improvement. - Syllabus

- Teaching methods
- Regular online work in moodlinka, two face-to-face sessions (block option).
- Assessment methods
- Attendance at the two face-to-face sessions (compulsory). Completion of all modules in moodlinka (one module per two weeks - compulsory).
- Náhradní absolvování
- During a study stay abroad and with an approved individual study plan, students will complete extra lesson analysis tasks instead of attendance.

- In the course, the use of AI is permitted for learning but not for cheating.
