Course objectives
The course aims to support students' professional development through practical experience in leisure pedagogy and group reflection. Students will acquire basic skills related to planning, implementing and leading leisure activities for children and youth. They will also gain the opportunity to reflect on their experiences in group sessions where they will analyse their practice, share their learning and develop critical thinking about pedagogical work.
Learning outcomes
Ability to reflect on own teaching practice:
- The learner can analyse his/her experience of practice, identify key moments and critically evaluate his/her approach to working with the target group.
- can articulate feedback to self and others and reflect on it in their professional development.
Develop skills of sharing and constructive discussion in group reflection:
- The learner contributes actively and respectfully to group discussion, sharing their experiences and learning from the practice of others.
- learners can articulate their observations, ask questions and reflect on different approaches to pedagogical work.

  • An introduction to reflective practice
  • Grouping participants and setting up reflection
  • Reflection in groups, evaluation of practices
  • Translating reflection results into practice
  • Participants completing the practice will also have a group reflection on the practice where they will have the opportunity to reflect on their experience with others.
