Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge about child development, knowledge about the development of rational-cognitive functions of a person, about the development of imaginative-emotional functions. The participant has to acquire knowledge of human social development, basic development tasks, development trends, bio-psychological regularities. Based on the acquired knowledge, the participant will be able to understand peculiarities in human behavior based on age specifics and will be able to apply them in practice.
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire basic knowledge about child development, knowledge about the development of rational-cognitive functions of a person, about the development of imaginative-emotional functions. Syllabus
● Preschool age (somatic development, development of cognitive functions, psychological world of the preschooler and its peculiarities, emotional and social development) ● Younger school age (question of school maturity, speech development, cognitive function development, differences in cognitive performance, development of fine motor skills and painting, level of aspiration and performance motivation, emotional development, forms of communication) ● Adolescence, (puberty and adolescence, problem of acceleration, somatic development and self-concept, capacity for self-reflection, separation from primary family, heterosexual relationships, group and its meaning) ● Development of cognitive and emotional abilities and their connection with the socio-cultural environment ● Development of abilities, skills, knowledge and personality traits during childhood and youth; the formation of the psyche in the period of relative constancy in an adult individual. ● Developmentally essential social efforts. ● Basic knowledge of solving educational problems depending on the child's development ● Developmental aspects of pedagogical work with children with disabilities
