- The course offers basic information about creating and using standardised/nonstandardised language tests for teachers.
- Learning outcomes
- By the end of this course, participants should be able to demonstrate the following: 1. a working knowledge of a selection testing means that could be used in a classroom setting; 2. confidence in selecting appropriate tools for testing; 3. the ability to evaluate testing tools for specific activities and learner groups.

- The course will be taught using the following methods: 1. group work; 2. problem-solving; 3. peer evaluation of the presented outcomes; 4. tutor's feedback.
- Method of verifying learning outcomes and course completion requirements
- Tasks in Moodlinka. To successfully pass the course, students must complete a portfolio task, which is represented by a short language test. According to the Competency Framework for Teacher Graduates (OSKR / KRAAU), the creation of this portfolio task develops competence in identifying and applying a variety of teaching methods and techniques with regard to the educational needs of lower secondary and secondary school pupils.
