- Abstract
- The selection of topics from the extensive issue of products, services and technologies in healthcare and pharmaceuticals will be presented.
Students will acquire basic overview on utilization of value innovation in healthcare.
The content subject includes definitions, classifications, research and development, regulatory framework, value assessment and appraisal, efficacy measure, safety, surveillance, pricing and reimbursement, capacity building, access and financing, quality domain, sustainability, and life-cycle management. - Learning outcomes
- Completing the course, students will be able to acknowledge and differentiate various products, services and technologies in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. They will understand a value of innovation in healthcare concept, its assessment and appraisal within the framework of core health technology assessment domains and life-cycle management of different health technologies.
