Course objectives
Practical experience and deeper understanding of editions of 17th and 18th music. Students will be acquainted with basics of editing work, specifics of historical scores editing, notation softwares and archive institutions.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able to define basic terminology, describe basic types of editions and define their characteristic and attributes. During the term will be acquainted with research work an will be able orientate themselves in arichve organization in Czech Republic.
Students will be able to prepare practical edition of 18th century composition with czech text and short editorial note.
