Požadavky k zápočtu: - numerické zpracování menších keramických souborů prostřednictvím kódu - samostatné zhotovení jednoduchých odlitků archeologických artefaktů - praktická znalost postupu laboratorního zpracovávání archeologických nálezů z příslušných objektů - zásady inventarizace

Course objectives
Degree programme: Archaeology Course: Laboratory Methods Level: First cycle of the five-year Mgr. programme Language of instruction: Czech Teaching: 2 hours seminar per week Duration: 1 semester Credits: A2 Assessment: Field work Course description: Training in practical techniques of cleaning, conservation and restoration of archaeological artefacts, especially ceramics, but also including metals and organic materials. Syllabus (in Czech)
  • 1. Druhy archeologických památek a materiál ze kterých byly vyrobeny. Způsoby ošetřování archeologických nálezů a jejich uchování před konzervací. Charakteristika organických a anorganických materiálů. 2. Způsoby konzervace jednotlivých materiálů (kámen, hlína, keramika, kov, kost, dřevo, textil, kůže, sklo aj.). Přehled nových experimentálních metod konzervace a restaurace. 3.-7. Praxe v laboratoři: mytí a sušení keramických fragmentů, slepování, doplňování a barvení keramiky. 8.-9. Praxe v laboratoři: odlévání drobných předmětů, příprava formy a sádry, vlastní odlévání. 10.-12. Praxe v laboratoři: zásady zpracovávání pravěkých nálezů, jejich třídění a evidence v rámci sídlištních objektů. 13.-15. Použití numerické deskripce a praktické zpracování menších nálezových celků prostřednictvím kódu.
