Course objectives
The course is aimed at the students who attended lectures in general didactics, education science and psychology and intend to teach French in different types of schools. It provides basic information in linguistic didactics and focuses mainly on main tendencies in TFL with regard to the specifics of French.
Syllabus
  • Definition of terms, main tendencies, goals of education, didactic and methodic principles of TFL, the role of the teacherand the autonomy of the student. Main attention is given to the linguistic means and training speech abilities, communicative competence and the general structure of a language class.
