Course objectives
At the end of this couse, students should have an overlook about the the history of migrant literature. They should know some important writers and a example of his work. They should be able to distinguish of wich stage of migrant literature a text is. They should be able to interprete a text of a migrantliterature writer with the background of the stage of migrant literature, of the appearing time and the curriculum vitae of the writer. Because the students had to write two texts about texts of migrant literature they read, were repeatet the kind of texts "summary" and "recension". These kinds of texts the students learned in the obligatory language exercises of the first and the second academic year.

The students had to write two texts: a summery of Asfa-Wossen Asserate "Manieren", Kapitel "Pünktlichkeit und Unpünktlichkeit" a recension of Im Juli", Fatih Akin there was the possibility to write a third text: an essay about the theme "preconception"
