Course objectives
The main objectives of the course are the following:
understand the history of libraries and archives in Czech republic and their structure;
Work with informations on critical analyse of literature or archival sources
Syllabus
  • Types of printing materials; types and organisation of libraries in Czech Republic; tapes of librarian aids for readers; introduction to cataloguing, bibliographical quotation.
  • Contemporary legal standard in archives in Czech Republic.
  • System of archives in Czech republic, types of archive's documents;
  • Types of archival aids for researchers;
