Course objectives
The seminar is based on student papers and presentations about cinemas of Bulgaria, Romania, Albania and the former Yugoslavia from beginnings to the end of communist regimes.
At the end of the course students should be able to:
interpret selected movies
discusse questions of totalitarian past reflected in the films
analyze work of great auteurs.
