Course objectives
Developpement of speech and yritten kills, work with newspaper texts or authentical songs, orthography.
Syllabus
  • Grammatical reflexion following the manual used during JSI course and phonetical reflexion on the basis of set texts of francophone authors alternately with understanding work with the support of songs (discovery of authors-composers-interpreters, followed by a general explanation and discussion concerning the theme of the song). From these topics, writing exercices are proposed to foster imagination and reflexion.

Teaching methods
Active participation in the course (only 1 missing is accepted)

Participation on class discussions and all written homeworks in time are requested.
Assessment methods
Credit – written test (dictation, lexical test, essay). Once the student is enrolled in the exercise class, attendance is mandatory.
