- Course objectives
- The aim of the course of Normative Grammar III is to make students acquainted with the backgrounds of syntax. Students should be able to define basic terms of Spanish syntax. When analyzing particular texts and exercises, he or she should be able to apply these terms and deduce from the observed phenomena the proper conclusions. At the end of this course, students will be able to deduce and explain the rules of basic syntactic phenomena and identify the deviations from the standard. He or she will be able justify and bring serious arguments to support his or her thesis. Eventually, he or she will be able to propose a solution in accord with the standard.

- Teaching methods
- Lecture: exposition and definitions of basic terms of syntax and their exemplification on Spanish texts. Seminar: application of theoretical knowledge on authentic texts. During the analysis of Spanish texts from syntactic point of view students show their ability to interconnect on their own their theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of specific texts.

- Credit: written test (min. 70%). Active participation and attendance is required (min. 70%).
