Course objectives
The students should be able to understand, translate and comment on the selected passages from Sallust.
Syllabus
  • Reading Sallust is not a course regularly taught during the semester. Students gain credit for independent reading of Sallust's Catilinae Coniuratio. Reading Sallust is a prerequisite for the B.A. State Final Exam. The examination takes place after the 2nd year of the study.

Assessment methods
The knowledge of Sallust's work is tested by translating and commenting on the text assigned. Oral and written examination. Exam dates according to individual e-mail appointment.
