- How to delineate the main differences between Czech and French languages ? Comparison with some translations.

- Teaching methods
- Active participation in the course (only 1 missing is accepted). Participation on class discussions and all written homeworks in time are requested.
- Assessment methods
- Examination: resumé and translation of a new text into French. The final note is calculated according to attendance and active participation in the course and after successfully completing the final examination (success rate 80 %) where students prove their capability to connect theoretical knowledge with the analysis and interpretation of literary texts.
