- Course objectives
- This course is supplementary to SHK12. At the end of the course, students will be able to: - indentificate the form, style of given samples of music - discuss the interpretation of given samples of music
- Syllabus
- The italian simfonia and aria da capo. The galant style - Krebs, Benda and others. Empfindsamkeit - C. Ph. E. Bach. Mannheim school (Stamic). Wiener Klassik. The classical style in Bohemia. Musical forms: string quartet, keyboard sonata, symphony. Opera in the era of enlightement (Gluck, Mozart). Church music, masses (Galuppi, Haydn, Stamic and others).
