Course objectives
Development of speech and writing skills : dissertation.
Syllabus
  • 4 stages: analysis of the subject, reflexion, arguing, outline elaboration, writing. Analyses of examples from newspapers. Numerous exercices, stage by stage and repetition.

Teaching methods
Seminar: application of theoretical knowledge on authentic texts (recordings). During their presentations students show their ability to interconnect on their own their theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of a specific text.
Assessment methods
Credit: active participation and attendance is required (80%) as well as written test (minimum: 60%), where students show their ability to analyze and explain phenomena in accordance (or in conflict) with the standard.
