Course objectives
During the course students should acquire information on the development, typology and history of research of medieval sites (castles, forts etc.) in the region of Central Europe. The emphasis is laid on the newest trends and methods used in European castellology so that the students are able to use them during their following scholarly activities or thesis preparation. The lecture is complemented by a separate practical field course AEB_146 Feudální sídla ve střední Evropě.
