Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to deepen and complement specialized knowledge of PhD students, as well as to cultivate their theoretical and practical skills within academic communication, based on working with source materials including heuristics (understanding of archive entries etc.).
Learning outcomes
After the completion of the course, the student shall be able:
- of heuristical work in archives, libraries, and other memory institutions;
- to independently select the relevant material;
- to independently assess the relevance of the acquired data for their research;
- to use the acquired data for their own PhD project.

  • According to the corresponding scientific interest of a PhD student and the topic of his/her dissertation.
