Course objectives
To help students familiarize themselves with contents already instructed in Chinese III. Enrollment is strongly recommended.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - understand paragraph-length utterances pertaining to a wide range of topics relating to daily and academic life. - sustain conversation in coherent paragraphs - handle successfully a wide range of task. Able to narrate, describe, compare and contrast - identify a moderate number of character components and high-frequency characters in areas of immediate need - identify key facts and some details in descriptive material on daily life. - deal with topics related to the content of the lesson texts studied in class

  • The Drill III is taught according the Integrated Chinese 2.1 textbook, following the teaching progress of Chinese Language III.

The course is taught by a native speaker who combines various methods of teaching - class discussion, conversations and oral presentations.

Evaluation Method: 1. Attendance: 50 %(Attendance policy: Missing max. 1 session is tolerated. Exceeding the limit automatically results in failure.) 2. Participation: 50 % (Students should participate in class discussion actively)
