Course objectives
The course is connected to obligatory courses Czech Sign Language III, Language Practice III, and Conversation III. It focuses on the practice of CSL lexicon defined by four thematic areas and also on understanding the grammar of CSL. Special focus is given to the simultaneity phenomena and the use of space. The lectures are based on work with videos and e-learning. Students train their visual orientation via visual media and they learn how to express themselves in CSL in front of the camera. Four times in the semester, their video recordings will be analyzed and they will receive feedback from the teacher with the typology of the mistakes.
Learning outcomes
Students understand native utterance of the CSL which is presented in clear, standard language and concerns every-day topics such as work, school, hobbies, activities in the Deaf community etc. they can form simple complete sentences on the given topics. They are able to describe their experiences, events in their lives, dreams, and expectations. They are able to explain and reason their opinions and plans.

Assessment methods
It is required to attend the lectures (at least 70 %) and do the homework. At least 70 % of the homework points mus be gained. After a student sends the homework to the teacher, the teacher evaluates the homework and sends it back to the student to do the correction. Such corrected homework is re-evaluated by the teacher just once (for each homework).
