- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is the study of the administrative and bureaucratic languages in diachrony and synchrony. Being specialistic texts with peculiar features, the students will analyse the macro-textual and linguistic traits of the several textual typologies.
- Learning outcomes
- The students will learn to use the instruments of the discipline (dictionaries, corpora, grammars), to recognise the different typologies of texts and to identify their main and peculiar features. The student will also learn to summarize the information coming from different sources, to develop critical sense, to communicate effectively, to work in group, to develop ideas and develop projects.
- Syllabus
- The course will be developed on the following topics: - the language of law, - the language of economy, - the language of public administration, - other sectorial languages (advertisement, marketing, turism).
