Course objectives
Museography and museology, basic terminology of contemporary museum studies, the creation of a system of organisation and documentation for museums; museum communication and presentation, the development of museums in Europe and the Czech Republic, archaeology in Czech museums.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, student will have general knowledge of the system of museums in the Czech Republic. Within the scope of archaeological museum specialisation, student will be familiarised with valid legal standards and methodological recommendations, which are used in the practice for a qualified acquisition, thesauration, scientific evaluation and presentation of archaeological heritage.
