Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to deepen and complement specialized knowledge of PhD students, as well as to cultivate their theoretical and practical skills within academic communication, based on working with source materials including heuristics (understanding of archive entries etc.).
Learning outcomes
After the completion of the course, the student shall be able:
- to master the basics of heuristics;
- to select relevant material;
- to independently assess the relevance of the acquired data for their research;
- to work in archives, libraries, and other memory institutions.

  • According to the corresponding academic interest of the PhD student and the topic of his/her dissertation.
