- Course objectives
- The focus of the subject “Academic Study Stay” is to deepen theoretical and practical knowledge of students in the form of a three-month study stay at a selected department of the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, a top institution for ethnologic research. The content of the activity and the choice of a particular department must be approved by the supervisor.
- Learning outcomes
- After the study stay, the student shall be capable of orientation in domestic and foreign research and institutional environment, he/she will be familiar with ongoing professional production, applied methods, and sources of information, which are suitable for the research project of his/her doctoral dissertation. The academic study stay allows the student to enter into and develop contacts in the discipline.
