Course objectives
The course aims at providing a basic knowledge of the main topics of the subject (authorial philology and criticism of authorial textual variants).
Learning outcomes
After attending the course, the student will have a general knowledge of authorial philology and criticism of authorial textual variants, in particular concerning XX century literature.
Syllabus
  • - authorial philology
  • - criticism of authorial textual variants
  • - history (and geography) of such approach
  • - a few case studies (e.g. Petrarch, Manzoni, Ungaretti)

two lectures in presence, then in self-learning

oral exam (also outside of the officiale examining dates, beginning from November)
