Abstract

The main objectives of the course are the following: • acquainting students with experience as a didactic tool in museum education • making students aware of didactic value of an exhibit • making students aware of the experience of an exhibit • acquainting students with methods in museum education

Learning outcomes

After completing the course, a student will be able to:
- explain the potencial of museum objects for personal experience of museum visitors
- design adequate metodics approaches by using of potencial of exhibits in museum education

• 1. Perception and the museum experience. Basics of interpretation, object learning.
• 2. Experience in museum - practical exercises. Experience as a didactic tool in museum education.
• 3. Power of exhibit - potencial of museum objects for personal experience of museum visitors. Methods in museum education, diverse of methods.
• 4. Metodics approaches by using of potencial of exhibits in museum education - projects, experimentation.

Min. 80% participation in lessons. Presentation of individual students project and discussion.
