Course objectives
Sociology of School and Education The course deals with the major views of the mutual relationship between society and education and views of the concrete topics which are at the centre of interest of sociology of education and which concern the inner life of schools and other educational institutions. There are explained some of the most important attitudes to examining the phenomena of school and education: structural attitude (consensual and conflicting) and interpretative attitude (interactional, ethnomethodological and phenomenological).
