- Course objectives
- A continuation to the Historical Development of Italian I, focused on the developments of the linguistic situation in Italy and on the analysis of texts from the early 13th to the 16th century.
- Syllabus
- Phonetic, morphological, syntactic and semantic changes since the early 13th century; previous stages of development compared to modern usage; major efforts in establishing norms in Italian.
