Course objectives
In the seminar the students will translate different types of texts from Italian to Czech, with particular focus on morphology, sytax and stylistics.
Syllabus
  • Theory: morphosyntatical aspects of translation - confrontation between czech and italian. Different styles Methodical preparation of a professional translator: working with the dictionary, knowledge of the subject, ,,personal dictionary", beta reading, quality and accuracy control Translating short texts written in italian, or in czech. Comparison with other students' versions.
