- The aim of this course is to provide a possibly cherent overview of the evolution of entertainment in Japan. At the end of the course, students should have a better understanding of the evolution of entertainment in Japan and should be able to view the individual pastimes in the broader context of the culture of entertainment as well as in the context of Japanese history.
