Course objectives
This course is intended for Bachelor students of the first year. Topics and grammar dealt with in the obligatory course Language acquisition I/2 are practised by means of speaking and conversation exercises. Goal is to reach level A2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Conversation exercises from the book "Van theorie naar praktijk" (R. Devos, H. Van Loo & E. Versyck), exercises related to the soap series in the Flemish manual "Vanzelfsprekend" (R. Devos e.a.), songs and other materials are being used. Also students are trained to successfully perform at the Certificate Dutch as a Foreign Language exam “Maatschappelijk Informeel”, corresponding with level A2.
