Prerequisites (in Czech)
Mit der Neuordnung des Studium in BA und MA Abschlüsse steigt auch die Zahl der geforderten Abschlussarbeiten. Dieses Seminar versteht sich als wirkliches Diplomseminar, d. h. Studierende, die eine literaturwissenschaftliche Abschlussarbeit schreiben, sollen mit Methoden, Vorgehensweisen und praktischen Techniken bei der Erstellung einer Arbeit vertraut gemacht werden. Im ersten Teil des Seminars werden literaturwissenschaftliche Methoden und Ansätze behandelt, im zweiten Teil eher praktische Fragestellungen. Daneben sollen im Entstehen begeriffene Arbeiten vorgestellt und diskutiert werden. Das Seminar ist grundsätzlich für alle Studierenden ab dem zweiten Studienjahr offen Vorrang haben aber Studenten, die bei Urválek oder Adam eine Arbeit schreiben.

Course objectives
With the fact that the study is nowadays divided into a bachelor and master programme, has the number of end-theses increased that the students have to work out. This seminar is a real seminar dealing with the end-thesis. The seminar provides help to the students, who – for example already after two years of study – work on their thesis. The students should learn the essence of academic writing in this seminar. They learn the methodology, working plan, the methods of literary criticism. In the first part the separate methods and approaches are exercised, in the second part the students present their work and discuss the problems and possible procedures. This seminar is offered for all students and above all for the those whose thesis supervisors are Dr. Wessely or Dr. Urvalek. At the and of this course, student should be able to present his diplomas theses. Student will be indtroduce into Methods, how to write a literary diplomas theses. Seminar is open for every student, but priority is giving to a students, which are writing their theses with Urvalek or Wessely.
Syllabus
  • The first part of this cours gives notice about the ABC of the Literaturtheory. In the second part will be spoken about the Problems, Aims etc.
