II. Cycle programme assumes knowledge of topics and literature of subjects: PSA 038, PSA 020 - Methodology I,II, PSA 019, PSA 036 - Psychology of Development and followed by subject PSA 023 Psycho-diagnostics of Adults. Active attendance of seminars and elaboration of final written paper is expected. To be admitted to the final exam, the student must fulfill following: 100 % participation in the seminar lessons, hand in on time final written paper. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- II. Cycle programme aims to convey essence of available psycho-diagnostic tools to students in compact theoretical summary and partial introduction of basic practical experience with methods most often used in diagnostics of these age groups. Active attendance is expected and inclusion of reviews of diagnostic techniques already experienced by students (during work stays, practice, participations in research projects etc.) is expected. In the end of course student will be capable of theoretical orientation in currently available psycho-diagnostic tools for age group of children and adolescents, to choose sufficiently diagnostic methods for more basic research and diagnostic purposes, to understand results and conclusions of chosen tests or method and to create basic hypothesis of diagnostic conclusions on basis of utilized techniques.

- Definition of basic terminology, psychometric characteristic of psycho-diagnostic methods, specifications of psycho-diagnosis of children, classification of psycho-diagnostic methods; Clinical methods: observation, conversation, case-history, analysis of spontaneous products; Testing methods: tests of development, intelligence tests and sets, test of special faculties, knowledge and skills, neuropsychological sets and methods, projective methods, drawing techniques, questionnaires, objective tests of personality, judging scales; Psychological documentation and psychological diagnosis, demonstration of most frequently used methods.

- Teaching methods
- Tuitions take place once in two weeks during term - lecture, reviews, discussions, demonstrations of diagnostic methods. Compulsory seminar follows after the lecture - Schedule for the seminar group will be done before the start of the semester.
- Assessment methods
- Examination is written. Prior to exam students are required to submit written paper in extend of minimum 3 pages. Students will work in pairs and will administrate a relevant psychodiagnostic method on each other. Content: Description of personal experience with diagnostic method related to age group. This includes theoretical conclusions, description of administration, evaluation,interpretation,personal reflection and literature reference.
