Course objectives
The course focuses on practicing intermediate Romanian grammar and vocabulary. It likewise centers on the most common and important conversation topics students will encounter when visiting Romania.
Syllabus
  • Canonical word order and exceptions.
  • Direct and indirect speech.
  • Relative clauses. Conversation topics: Greetings and addresses.
  • Shopping.
  • Travel, etc.

Teaching methods
Seminar: application of theoretical knowledge on authentic texts (recordings). During their presentations students show their ability to interconnect on their own their theoretical knowledge and practical analysis of a specific text.
Assessment methods
Examination – written test and oral interview.
