- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is that the student gains awareness of the professional practice of an archaeologist carried out during the rescue archaeological research (RAR); that the student actively participates in archaeological practice that is not included in the compulsory courses of the curriculum of the Bachelor’s degree.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the RAR practice, the student will be able to carry out basic excavation and documentation techniques in field research: (photo documentation, drawing documentation, work with the total station, documentation forms), as well as basic laboratory processing (cleaning of finds, recording).
- Syllabus
- Active participation in archaeological rescue research - compulsory: 120 hours worked

- Practical activity on archaeological sites and in the laboratory

- Official confirmation of participation in the RAR; a confirmation of the 120 hours worked will be issued by the site director (employee of an organization authorized to carry out archaeological excavations)
