Cíle předmětu
The course is a block-lecture which will be given from 3–7 April, and will comprise excursions (Znojmo, Klosterneuburg, Vienna) as well as lectures in class. The aim is to serve as an introduction to the 12th-century art and architecture by cross-examining the local traditions and those of the broader European and Mediterranean space.
Výstupy z učení
Develop knowledge about the transitional period of the 12th century both in local monuments and within a globalizing perspective
Be able to recognize iconography, stylistic, and transmediatic interactions in a variety of objects and monuments
Develop skills in the preparation of structured oral presentations on complex topics
Develop academic skill in the redaction of a scholarly paper at the end of the lecture
