- Course objectives
- The course is a more advanced practicum for students of ethnology and related disciplines with the aim of gaining practical experience related to the preparation and organization of the SIEF World Congress.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, the student will have practical knowledge gained through active involvement in the preparation and conduct of the SIEF World Congress.

- 1. Participation in the preparatory work in the months February to June 2023.
- 2. Participation in the organizational and technical arrangements for the Congress from 5 to 10 June 2023.

Requirements:1. English B1, preferably B2 (volunteers who can also communicate in German or other world languages are welcome).
2. 3. Basic knowledge of information technology. 4. Completion of training and regular coordination meetings during the spring semester of 2023.5. Active personal participation in the Congress on June 5-10, 2023.
6. Operational performance of tasks directly related to the smooth running of the congress (registration of participants, providing information and assistance to participants /navigation, information about the congress, congress programme/.
