Course objectives
The subject´s targets consist in publishing of a specialized text in a domestic or foreign journal, scientific collection, or collective monograph, or at least in accepting that text for printing. The student shall discuss in advance the theme and the title, in which the text is expected to be published, with his/her supervisor. The acknowledgement of the subject is conditioned by the standardized review proceeding for printed material, in which the publication of the text is planned. Publishing in journals registered in databases Erih+, Scopus and WoS is preferred.
Learning outcomes
The student will have experience with creation of a specialized text (based on conducted research and analysis of literature) and with its use at discipline´s and out-of-discipline´s publication platforms. In connection with the publication of the author´s text of professional nature, he/she will acquire experience in communication with publishers and editors, and he/she will get acquainted with the principles of review proceedings.

  • 2. Articulation of a research problem.
  • 3. Choice of a suitable title for publishing and communication with publisher / editors.
  • 4. Heuristics and source research.
  • 5. Working-out of specialized text.
  • 6. Reflection of review proceedings results for final form of text.

Teacher's information
The successful subject graduation is conditioned by the submission of the published text, or a confirmation issued by the publisher/ editors, that the text was accepted for publication. The confirmation must include the expected date of publication, whereby the period between the date as of which the subject shall be concluded and the date of publication should not exceed 12 months.
